Heavy Rainbows News
Swelling Rage
The Swelling Rage magazine, compiled by Robyn Mallory, features a selection of artists prepared to challenge the establishment. Uncensored and uncompromising content conveyed primarily through the medium of collage. (I'm on pages 17 and 18)

In The Days of Love and Peace
World War ll caused an estimated 75-80 million deaths, making it the deadliest conflict in history, with most fatalities being civilians due to massacres, genocide, starvation, disease, and bombing. It appears contemporary world leaders have failed to learn from mistakes made by their predecessors during the last century. For example American President Donald Trump's missile attack on an Iranian girls school, killing 175, mainly young children, is a war crime that needs to be addressed by the United Nations, otherwise humanity is dead and buried.

I Don't Want to be a Soldier
Nuclear armed states, led by lunatics, are perpetrating illegal and unprovoked wars that merely serve to ensure the mass slaughter of innocent civilians. Every soldier is someone's child, and every dead soldier is someone's dead child.
The Witching Hour
Stone Illusion, one of my paintings from the Nature's Revenge collection, is in Sally Anderson's The Witching Hour magazine, third edition, containing mystical stories and images in time for the forthcoming Halloween festivals, and is available from October 2025.

Gardens of Life - Summer Reflections
4th - 31st July 2026
London Art Exhibition celebrating the natural wonders of life and our unique environment
Curated by Jola Maria Mroszczyk

Organic Peas (42 x 30 cm) Three Peas
The beauty of homegrown garden vegetables lies in their imperfections that I find a refreshing contrast to the uniform, pesticide ridden, produce found in your typical supermarket.
Fresh homegrown plants consist of an abundance of nature's vibrant colour, and are alive with texture and healthy nutrients that serve as a transcendental and therapeutic experience with our natural world, and its circle of life.
Gardens of Life is a cyclical exhibition initiative exploring themes of connection, memory, environment and human experience. Each edition responds to a different seasonal or conceptual focus.
Summer Reflections forms part of the ongoing independent exhibition programme

Dark Spectrum of Light
Oil on canvas, 50 x 60 cm, 2023
The original oil painting used for the cover of my book entitled Heavy Rainbows (published by Austin Macauley), will be on sale from July 2026 on the Artgallery.co.uk platform.
The painting's composition was developed from an interest in alternative ways of seeing, using inanimate objects conveyed through multiple angles. The composition is concerned with pollution and advocates environmental conservation involving a fractured plant, culture, guitar, and a prism of light, each of which illuminates out from the void.
The plant appears to be alive, though certainly not thriving in its natural environment, a reference to climate change and the impending catastrophic consequences from man's pollution in the form of excessive carbon emissions.
Nunny's Farm
My family and I recently visited Nunny's Farm situated in Grimsby, Northeast Lincolnshire where we spent a little time talking to one of the directors, who told us the names of the animals and indeed their characters, including several interesting stories about how the animals were obtained. I spent most of my time with the sheep whilst the boys were busy pampering the pigs, who visibly enjoyed having their ears scratched. There was a great atmosphere at the farm and people of all ages were having a great day out. However such farms desperately need funding to maintain buildings and help keep the animals healthy and warm during the winter. Visiting Farms serve as a fun and affordable place to visit for families and individuals of all ages, including school visits, the elderly, and anyone who just needs somewhere to get away from it all for an hour or so. It's important to note that Visiting Farms are not only beneficial to the community but also the environment, not least the animals including the pigs, goats, sheep, cows and chickens, all of whom are intelligent, sensitive creatures with a fondness to human interaction and play.

Nunny's Farm are selling my Cow In Hand limited edition prints in their shop, each individually signed and numbered. The print size is 10 x 7 cm, inside a 20 x 15cm frame.
